Fit for a Princess

Hi friends.  Just a quick post tonight.  I picked up this sweet little wooden chair at a garage sale last week.  It was just plain unfinished wood, but I knew immediately that it could become a Princess chair.

I wanted to make it sweet but also fun so I added the bright turquoise color and the bling on the crown.  I don't get in the mood to do this type of painting very often but it's fun occassionally.  I hope this Princess chair will soon be used by some Little Princess!

On Display

Hi friends.  I've actually been painting quite a bit lately, but I've been bad about taking pictures of my projects. I did take a picture of the bookshelf that I painted tonight - but no before photo (of course)!

This bookshelf is solid wood and it's a great size.  I put a few things on the shelves so you can get an idea of the size.  I painted the inside with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White and the outside is French Linen.  The shelves are adjustable.  Mom sold a bookshelf last week so we needed another one to display smaller items in our booth.

Blogland is full of two-tone furniture inspiration lately - I'm loving it - how about you?

Following the lighted path

I'm not exactly where I want to be with my business just yet, but I decided a long time ago to be patient and follow the steps as God lights them.  I'll be honest - I often want to jump ahead of the lighted path.  It always seems that just when I begin to get discouraged a new step gets lit for me - such a step I've recently taken (with my mom by my side).

We have expanded into the Antique Gallery in Lewisville!  The timing of this opportunity was just perfect.  We love our little space and hope that you will add it to your list of shopping spots in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.  Take a look:

The mall is located just off of I-35 at Hwy. 121 Business.  More info. on the website here.  Come see us!
